Designed by Oscar Niemeyer in 1951 as his family home, Casa Das Canoas is considered one of the most significant examples of modernist architecture in Brazil. The dwelling is notoriously recognized by history experts and art critics as a synthesis of modern architecture and the free authorial creativity that flourished in Europe and the Americas.

Modern Mecca completed the full restoration of a mid century ranch in Friendly Hills, California, an area 12 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles. The San Lucas House, an outstanding example of California Ranch House, was erected in 1959, and was acquired by Modern Mecca in July 2015. The house represents one model of a ranch home that was built in a neighborhood commonly known as Friendly Hills, an affluent and the most desirable area in the hills of Whittier, California. The San Lucas Ranch, is attractively sited at the prominent corner of Mar Vista and San Lucas Drive, and just a stone's throw from Raphael Soriano's Krause Residence (1949-51), historic Uptown, Whittier City Hall (completed in 1954) and the Public Library (completed in 1958) both designed by William H. Harrison, and the main entrance to the Whittier College campus and Whittier College Performing Arts Center, designed by William Pereira in 1982. Outdoor living areas extend beyond the house on the same level were emphasized, so that interior space merged with the exterior, separated merely by large areas of glass and sliding glass doors. The project which consisted of aquisition, rehabilitation and a sensitive restoration of the existing structure, interior design and landscape design, was completed in 2016. Modern Mecca Staging completed a project at ​1946 Vine Street, in Los Angeles. This totally remodeled Craftsman home in the Hollywood Dell just minutes to all the action of new Hollywood. The home lies on a almost 15,000 sq ft lot massive property with views of the Griffith Park Observatory and the Hollywood Hills. We used a mix of eclectic furnishings and some appropriate to the Craftsman style of the home. Marketed by Eric Smilay, of Nourmand & Associates, Beverly Hills office, the home received several offers during its first open house, opened escrow just 5 days after staging completion, and sold for full asking price.
